I have know way of measuring trigger pressure but would estimate fitting this spring halves the weight of the original.

The spring upgrade spring only took about 5 minutes to install. Going from the standard 5 lbs spring which was abit hard to squeeze the trigger.
Than swapping to the 2 lbs spring and doing a couple of dry fires, it’s so much better and feels like a dream to squeeze the trigger without trying force your finger at all.

I originally purchased a Timney Sear & Spring kit – brought my 77/22 trigger from 7 pounds to 4 – the velocity spring combined with the Timney sear brought it down to a excellent 1.8 pounds – I’m extremely happy – turned a compromised gun into a sweet shooter – excellent item that makes a real difference.

Easy 5 min install, but not 2Lbs, measured at a little over 3Lbs. A world of difference from the standard Ruger M77 at 6 1/4 Lbs though. Well worth doing without the cost of a Timney.
